Vantage Park

Named after Vantage Homes who dedicated 23 acres to the City of Cottleville to create Vantage Park.

Vantage Park is located in the Madison Park Subdivision and is accessible from St. Peters Cottleville Road via Madison Park Drive, or utilize the 10' paved pedestrian bridge over Dardenne Creek from Legacy Park.

The Park features a 9 acre lake, 0.7 mile paved walking trail, and a small gazebo that can be used as a picnic shelter. There is also a portable restroom located near the intersections of the Warran Cottle Trail and the Vantage Lake Trail.

The lake has been stocked with catfish and small mouth bass. Fishing is allowed, but please respect the catch and release rule.

The Park also has Community Garden space available. We currently have some of the space occupied with vegetable gardeners, but do have room for more gardeners to enjoy.

In addition, Vantage Park has multiple trails that connect directly to the walking trail that surrounds the lake.

  • The Warren Cottle Trail connects on the western side of the Park and leads up to Weiss Road near Warren Elementary School.

  • The Podhorn Memorial Trail connects on the eastern side of the Park which surrounds Harmony Lake and will take you to Cottleville Parkway near St. Charles Community College.

  • The Dardenne Greenway Trail connects to the Park via a 10' wide pedestrian bridge across Dardenne Creek to Legacy Park.
