The Municipal Court is the judicial branch of the City Government and is a division of the Eleventh Circuit Court of St. Charles County.

The Municipal Court primarily handles cases filed by the Cottleville Police Department. These cases include traffic tickets, non-traffic summonses, and City Code violations.

*If you do not have your ticket number or can not find your case, please filter using 11th Judicial Circuit and your name.

Please note it may be 10-14 days before your ticket or case appears on Mo case.net. 
*If you have missed two or more court dates OR your fine is NOT eligible to be paid online through Mo case.net please see item 9 below under  FAQs.
*Offenses listed on the fine schedule above can be paid without a court appearance.

Those appearing for matters before the Court must have proper attire or you will NOT be permitted into the courtroom.

The Court Costs amount is set by Missouri State Statute and City Ordinance = $31.50

Most traffic violations can be paid without a court appearance using Mo case.net. Paying your ticket online with Mo case.net consuitues a plea of gulity. If your violation does not appear on the TBV fine schedule above, a court appearance is required. If you have any questions about whether it is necessary to appear in Court, please contact the Court Administrator at [email protected] or at 636-498-6363.

If you wish to plead guilty and pay the fine and cost, it is not necessary to have an attorney represent you.

The Court Offices are open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; closed daily from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.  There is a drop box at this location for use when the office is closed. Please place payment inside an envelope with your name and contact information on the outside. If you need confirmation of your fine balance, please contact the Court Administrator at 636-498-6363 or [email protected].

Suspension = 8 points in 18 months
Revocation = 12 points in 12 months

Entry of appearance is done via Missouri Case Net

Please send one copy of each to the Prosecutor’s Assistant at 5490 5th Street Cottleville, MO 63304:

   * Request for Recommendation with a SASE.
   * Request for Discovery, if necessary, including SASE with extra postage

   * Driving record required when entering an appearance on a DWI.  Please include this with the entry to expedite the recommendation process.

The prosecutor will make all recommendations on the evening of Court and they will then be mailed out the week of Court.
